I qualified as a Chartered Accountant too long ago to remember, and was a partner in a practice, specialising in advising doctors and dentists on their finances, until a stroke in 2010 forced my early retirement.
Since then I have kept myself busy writing. I initially concentrated on financial matters, until recently, when I turned my attention to my more childish side, and am currently working on children's books, and an adult poetry book.
In the meantime, my love of bacon sandwiches, and the lack of cafes providing good ones, has led me to work on the Best Bacon Butty In Cumbria (which is morphing into a book which provides an underhand way of getting fatties to exercise). As long as this project doesn't kill me I plan to publish in time for the 2020 tourist season.
